He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lee Pfabe (Povlick). He is survived by: his father Paul W. Pfabe; his daughter Sarah Grace Pfabe; his siblings, Linda Ritz (Charlie), Karen Lee King, Sharon Shoaf (Daryl) and Brian (Debbie); his nieces, Gretchen Pfabe and Kelly Koorathota; his nephew Evan Shoaf; and his wife Sarah Pfabe.
