He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Atlee Edwards and Ella Ziegler Edwards; and his sister Mary Chomicki. He is survived by: his brother Fred Edwards (Karen); his wife Donna L. Knipe Edwards; his daughter Sheri Chubb (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Sheredan, Rebecca, Amanda and Matthew.
