He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eckhardt and Mary Mann Eckhardt; his wife Sandra L. Phillips Eckhardt; and his siblings, Walt, Larry, Amy, Irene, Geraldine, Edna and Bill.
He is survived by: his son Scott R. Hunt (Tracy L.) of Butler; his brothers-in-law, Tom Phillips of Allison Park and George Phillips of Butler; his sister Ruth Rosenberger of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Joshua Hunt (Brook) of Butler and Mackenzie Hunt (T. J. Anderson) of Butler; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Isabella, Cathlynn and Judsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
