He was predeceased by: his spouse Judith A. "Judy" Heckman (Gier); and his parent Ralph B.. He is survived by: his parent Shirley L. Heckman (Hess); his sons, Christopher and Jacob; and his siblings, Ronald Heckman (Terri) of Germansville and Sheila Heckman of Palmerton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
