He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry Newsome and Frances Yates (Jones). He is survived by: his sons, Ernest Jones of Kathleen, GA, Howard L. Jones, Jr. of Syracuse, NY, Curtis Jones of Far Rockaway, NY, Terry T. Jones of Newport News, VA, Timothy D. Jones of Silver Springs, MD and Michael Jones of Mesa, AZ; and his close friend Virgie Spruiell of Bushkill. He is also survived by grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
