He is survived by: his sister Maryall; his daughter Susan Strong (Stanley); his grandsons, John Knecht (Margaret) and Aaron Lineberry (Holly Champluvier); and his great grandchildren, Wilson Knecht, Emily Knecht, Aaron Lineberry, Thomas Lineberry and Jacob Lineberry.
