Garis of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her mother Louise Burkey; her husband Tom Garis; her pets, Roxie and Gracie; her brother Stacy Burkey of Hudson, Florida; her cousin Sheree Misovich; her in-laws, Dorothy Garis (late Charles) and Renee; her friends, Leanne Wood, Amy Hoyt and Charlene Kaier; and also, Doug and Chuck Garis, Jr..
Because Renee was so passionate about her volunteer work, she asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her name to Animal Friends 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
