He is survived by: his wife Debra Mitko (Taylor); his children, Steven Mitko (Tanya) and Sarah George (Brinton); his grandchildren, Bryan Mitko (Anna Billman), Justin Mitko (Cassidy Schulz), Dillon Mitko (Shyann Jackson), Savannah George and Addison George; and his siblings, Larry Mitko (Evelyn), Gayle Booher (Larry), Joyce Mullins and Debi Lonick (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida in honor of George.
