She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Helen Brown; her husband Robert "Bat" LaPosta; her siblings, Betty Furno, Harol Chutes, Ruth Chutes Smith, Iva Boyce, Thelma Brown LoPresti and George Brown; her daughter Judith Vajentic; and her children-in-law, Eric "Giz" Vajentic and Diana LaPosta.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert LaPosta (Barbara) of Paris, PA and Eugene LaPosta of Grantsville, MD; her grandchildren, Leslie Killen (Jerry), Darek LaPosta (Tammy), Eric Vajentic (Sharon), Rob LaPosta (Tara), Jenifer Hay (Jamie) and Lynae Scott (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Alex, Dominic, Jake, Andrew, Trent, Justin, Grace, Benjamin, Kyle, Ella, Regan, Sidney and Grayson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made in Florence's memory to the Jefferson Township Fire Department where Florence volunteered for many years.
