He was predeceased by: his parent Emil Alexander Stanish; his brother John G. Stanish; and his stepfather Max Mermon. He is survived by: his spouse Connie Walker of Hickory, PA.; his daughters, Kiley Shafer (Wayne) and Karissa Stanish; his mother Margaret Mermon; his sisters, Judi Forman (Alan) and Kristine Stanish; and his granddaughters, Briley Shafer, Brinley Shafer and Bristol Shafer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
