He was predeceased by : his parents, R. Donald and Thelma May Melvin Owings; his former life partner Joann Shimon Owings; and his sister Wanda Hook. He is survived by : his wife Helen L. Holland Owings; his children, Rose Marie White (late Paul) of Kittaning, Robert M. Owings (Jean) of Slovan, Jackie Crewl (Scott) of Carnegie and Jody Itzel of Houston; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rose White, Danielle Skulalek, Paul Andrew White, Holly Johnson, Nicole Monroe, Shelbe Nixon, Logan Crewl and Zachary Crewl; his sister Shirley Abbott (Lee) of Hanover Township; and his brother-in-law Dave Hook of Hanover Township.
