He is survived by: his wife Leoma Ayres (Prata); his children, Merle Ayres (Sherry), Robbi Dowler (Bobby) and Mitchell Ayres (Sherri); his grandchildren, Anjelica Ayres (Anthony Martin), Brianna Ayres, Aubrey Ayres (Alex Endler), Robert Dowler (Marsha), Nicole Heran (Sean), Jeremy Dowler (Terri Whitefield), Jill Lugaila and Lori Larmarca; and his sister Alice Oblock.
