He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtis and Marie Kolling Curtis; his wife Marilyn Sheldon Curtis; and his siblings, Dorothy Scheoner, Clarence Curtis, John Curtis, Jane Felton, Raymond Curtis, Richard Curtis, Lois Beyerback, Francis Curtis, Peg Hall and Donna Beyerbach.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sheldon Curtis (Jodie), Michelle Smith (Duane), Lawrence Charles Curtis (Cindy), Mark Curtis (Linda) and Harry W. Curtis II (Jane); his great grandchildren, Brian Fisher, Bobby Jo Proser, Shelbie Curtis, Savannah Curtis, Brandon Curtis, Erin Wazelle, Lindsay Salyer and Brandi Walls; and his siblings, Patricia "Connie" Allen and Regis Curtis.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, in memory of Bud.
