He was predeceased by: his parents, Michawl E. Collins and Nora Collins (Bianchini); and his wife Shirley Collins (Plants). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Loretta Whyte (Craig) of Bulger, Lori Kellar (Darin) of Bulger and Roy Collins; and his siblings, Joseph Collins of Clinton, Amelia Butler (Dave) of Pittsburgh, Jean Esno of Bulger and Janet Schmac (Bob). He is also survived by his children and siblings, kept his family.
