She is survived by: her husband Timothy Burkett; her children, Michelle Taylor (Ian) of Johnstown, Michael Deter (Kelli) of Frostburg, Matthew Burkett (Ashley) of Buffalo Mills, Elyse LaRue of Buffalo Mills and Brandon Burkett of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Emmy, Mya, Kylie, Marissa, Trenton, Tristan, Bentley, Victoria, Veronica, Skylar and Jaxon; and her brother Robert Madero of Westernport.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made Bedford County Humane Society.
