He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Charles and Harriet Meda Rieker (Westman); and his stepson Michael Newman Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Jones Rieker; his daughters, Stacy Franklin (Michael) of Buffalo Mills and Erika Rieker (Jeffery Klugh) of Millersville; his stepchildren, Wilty Newman of Maytown, Kurry Newman (Cindy) of Marietta, Stuart Newman (Lisa) of New Cumberland, Randy Jones of York and Jennifer Jones of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Shank, Anthony, Joshua Heaps, Tyler Rieker, Desiree Newman, Michael Newman III, Beth Ann Newman, Emily Newman, Katie Barclay, Kurry Newman Jr., Cyan Newman, Alex Newman, Devihon Krames and Aniysha Krames.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
