He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Benjamin and Maude Louise Waugerman (Holler); his wife Stella Waugerman (Turner); his daughter Cynthia Waugerman; and his siblings, Dalton "Buck", Roy, Harry Waugerman, Olive Waugerman, Leona Hyde, Clara Leydig, Amanda Shroyer and Inda Logue.
He is survived by: his children, Carle Pensyl (Lynn) of Hyndman, Joni Bussard (Leland) of Corriganville and Eddy Waugerman (Bonnie) of Buffalo Mills; his grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Pensyl (Sharee), Tyler Pensyl (Julia), Travis Bussard (Erin), Justin Bussard (Sarah), Brandon Bussard (Lauren), Ashley Magruder (Dalton) and Lucas Waugerman (McKayla Hankinson); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Madison, Isaac, Isla, Aria and Chase; and his sister Marian Bohn of Buffalo Mills.
