He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Anna Oprosky (Koshar); his wife Josephine Oprosky (Fronzaglio); and his brothers, John Oprosky (Elda) and Thomas Oprosky (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Domingo (James) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Diana Rankin (Boyd) of Elizabeth Township, Joanne Braucher (Wayne) of Port Vue and Richard Oprosky, Jr. (Robin) of Elizabeth Township; his grandchildren, Robert Domingo, Jacqueline Rankin Graham (Todd), Julie Rankin Heullen, Carley Morenczy (Mike), Anna Marnell, Tina Leach (Rick), Tim Marnell, Shanon Oprosky Wilson (Kevin) and Shane Oprosky; his great grandchildren, Dan Morenczy, Joshua, Nicki, Shelby Laughlin, Ryan Pitterich, Henry, Evelyn Graham, Olivia Mochar, Julian, Josephine Huellen, Dominic, Eliana Leach, Devin Marnell and Logan Joos; and his sisters, Elaine Janitor of Sutersville and Ruth Jesberger of Ohio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elizabeth Township Police Department K-9 Unit.
