With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Kapis Jr. (Buena Vista, Pennsylvania), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Kapis Sr. and Anna Kapis (Marish); his wife Diane Kapis (McNulty); and his brother Robert Kapis. He is survived by: his children, Joelle Kapis-Holland, Sarah Kapis-Ryan (Jeffrey) of White Oak and Kirk Kapis (Tonya) of Trafford; his sisters, Catherine Johnson of Philadelphia, Betty Flowers of Jeannette and Rita Yaugh (John) of McKeesport; and his grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob Holland, Reece Kapis, Reagan and Cameron Ryan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
