He was predeceased by: his parents, James McElhinny and Elizabeth Griffin McElhinny; his son Larry; and his brother James. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Pappalardo (Christopher); his sister-in-law Pat McElhinny; his sisters, Betty McElhinny (Elizabeth) and Mary Theresa McElhinny (Vivian); his daughter-in-law Julie McElhinny; and his grandsons, Justin, Eric Brandon, Bryce, Danny and Josh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
