He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joyce and Catherine Mumford Joyce; and his brothers, Thomas and Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joyce (Ricks); his sister Mary Catherine Miller (Joyce); his children, Joseph Joyce (Elise) of Hershey, Patricia McGrath (Sean) of Churchville, Timothy Joyce (Christina) of Mohnton and Annette Joyce of New Hope; his grandchildren, Tara Walton (Kevin), Matthew, David Joyce, Conor, Sarah, Aidan McGrath, Jacob, Thomas Joyce, Brenna and Kelly Lee; and his great grandchild Lily Walton. He is also survived by companions but also beloved family pets.

“I have very fond memories of Uncle Joe. Most of them include his “Irish Twin”, my father Tom in activities together. I will always remember the picnics at Perkiomen Creek, the North Catholic v Frankford Thanksgiving Day Football games, our family’s vacation together in Connecticut & his dinner time stories of how he saved the world, one day at time, as a crossing guard at St. A’s (Athanasius). You all, Aunt Dot, Joe, Patty, Timmy and Anne are in my thoughts & prayers. May he rest in peace.”
