It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Chelak of Buck Run, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gober and Catherine Gober; her husband Stephen Chelak; and her siblings, Anna Postick, Joseph Gober, Frank Gober and Sophie Borrell.

She is survived by: her siblings, Josephine Romanko, Rose Turnowchyk, Paul Gober (Monica) and Thomas "James" Gober (Marion). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations are preferred to Holy Family Parish, 538 Sunbury Street, Minersville.
