He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kupfer and Verna Kupfer (Wilday); and his son Karl Kupfer. He is survived by: his spouse Min Hwa Kupfer; his daughter Lisa Polzin (Barry) of Marquette, Michigan; his stepson Josh Hwa (Ana) of Canton, Massachusetts; his grandsons, Bob and Max Polzin; and his stepgrandchildren, Zoey, Evie Hwa, Reese, Quinn and Drew MacDonald.
