With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Deiss of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 26, 2021 at the age of 105. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James DeVaney and Olive M. DeVaney (Dean); her husband Edward William Deiss; her sons, Robert E. Deiss and Edward W. Deiss Jr.; her great grandchild Michael Colflesh; and her son-in-law William Y. Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara R. Lewis; her grandchildren, Robert Deiss (Lisa), Kimberlee Russell, Karen Shaffer (Ian), Deborah Clausen (Thomas), Donna Freeman (Brad) and William Harshaw, Jr. (Kimberly); and her close friend Lisa Condon.
