It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. McAdoo (Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Campbell McAdoo, Jr. and Dorothy Brown McAdoo; his former wife Dorothy Morris Osborne of Cleveland, Ohio.; his children, Susan M. Levy (Toby), McKinley C. McAdoo (Elsie), Dorothy M. MacColl (Malcolm) and Cameron M. Peake (David); his sister Joan McAdoo Simmons; and his wife Mary Cheston Hancock. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four step-children.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to the William Penn Charter School, 3000 W. School House Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19144, or Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
