Phebe Drayton Strong Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2018, at the age of 89, Phebe Drayton Strong (Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child George V. Strong (Ann); and her siblings, Frederick R. Drayton Jr. and Ruth Drayton Dodge. She is survived by: her children, Ruth D. Strong Ferraro (Tom) and John P. Strong; her grandchildren, Anna Strong Safford, William D. Ferraro, Eliza P. Strong, Caroline D. Strong, Peter S. Ferraro and Elizabeth P. Ferraro; and her sibling Elizabeth Drayton Hopkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the George V. Strong Scholarship Fund at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, 500 W Willow Grove Ave, Phila., PA 19118.
