She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanette Gossette and Thomas Gossette; and her brothers, Julius (Arnetha Gossette) and Thomas (Janet Gossette). She is survived by: her husband Eugene Payne; her friend Virginia "Ginny" Turner; her daughters, Dietra (Randy Tibbs), Amelia (Daniel Davis) and LaTrice (Sean Cust); her grandchildren, Camille (Jonathan Williams), Christopher, Nicholas Tibbs, Olivia, Victoria James, Taylor Cust and Jonathan Jr.; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Dylan and Maddison; and her sister Carrie Williams (Harry). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
