He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Eve; his wife Eve; his children, Barbara Bogle Renninger (Scott), Jean Bogle, Nancy Bogle St John (Gordon), Sandra Bogle Marucci (Buddy), John Clifton Bogle Jr (Lynn) and Andrew Armstrong Bogle; and his brothers, William Yates Bogle III and David Caldwell Bogle. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Blair Academy, the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, and Gesu School.
