He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Florence Hummel and John A. High; his wife Gisela A. High; his children, Eric P. High (Irene), Stephanie A. Kaster (Floyd), Robert W. High (Christa) and Douglas J. High; his grandchildren, Hosanna, Elijah, Nathanael, Timothy, Mary, Ruth, Sandra, Kyle, Ethan and Connor; and his sister Patricia Russell.
