She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Blomquist and Elizabeth Strain Blomquist; and her son Dylan R. Young. She is survived by: her husband Bob Young; her son Gregory Young (Sandra Liza); her grandson Alexander Young; her siblings, Joan Zak (William) and Edward Blomquist (Joan); and her daughter-in-law Mitzi Young.

“Janet was my roommate Freshman year at Moravian College. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was the girl that had it all! Looks, brains, and I think every guy on campus was in awe of her! She was kind to all and certainly a good friend to me. I was devastated when she had her stroke at such an early age and I know she had a rough time coping with her limitations. Bob, please accept my heartfelt condolences. She was a treasure. Love from Helen and Harvey Kaufman”
