He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koval and Helen Koval (Washko); and his sister Marian Shatrowsky (John). He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lou Koval (Lidondici); his grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Keith, Kelly Babitz, Maximillian, Domonique Alesi and Timothy Koval; and his siblings, Robert Koval (Joanne), John "Jack" Koval (Rosalyn), Barbara Yatsko (Ted), Donald Koval (Joanne) and Gerald Koval (Linda).
