He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Frances; and his son Chip. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Clifford (Kathy), Mary and Margaret (Meg); and his stepchildren, Ian-Peter, Angus, Mairi, Jane and Charlotte. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 15 step- grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren.
