He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Merkel, Jr. and Martha Gladys Niesley; and his wife Elma C. Niesley. He is survived by: his children, Charles F. Niesley, Jr. (Caroline) and Barbara C. DiAnnibella (Nicholas).
