It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ratica of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, born in Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Morris and Maude Pinkney Morris; and her husband Robert W. Ratica. She is survived by: her children, Bob Ratica (Kyra) of Richeyville, PA, Caroline Summers (Dan) of Morgan Town, WV, John Ratica (Lori) of Brownsville, PA, Pete Plutch (Michelle) of Brownsville, PA, Darla Mikula (Bob) of Denbo, PA and Floyd Plutch; and her siblings, Dolly Leonard, Barbara Adamson, Deatra Bennington, Thelma Hutchinson, Robert Morris, John Morris, Kenneth Morris and Abraham Morris. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
