He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Swartz and Katherine Evak Swartz; his sister Rosemarie Schneider; and his half-brother Stephen Gorshak. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Diana Vicha (Michael) of North Ridgeville, OH and Ryan Swartz (Sherry) of Grafton, WV; and his grandson Tyler Swartz of Fairview Park, OH.. He is also survived by five nieces, one nephew, and several cousins.
