Evelyn Kara Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023, at the age of 87, Evelyn Kara of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gross and Maurine Gross; her former husband Glenn Wilson; her husband Robert Kara; her grandson Ross Pursglove; her sisters, Geraldine Tanner and Nedra McClay; and her son Robert Kara Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Cherie Pursglove (Dave) of Hiller, PA, Linda Cassell of Centennial, Colorado and Susan DeCarlo of Brownsville; her grandchildren, Lindsay Crable (Jerry), Katey Fisher (Jordon) of Waynesboro, PA, Grant Cassell (Allyson) of Littleton, Colorado, Morgan Cassell of Belgrade, Montana, Brandon DeCarlo (Megan) of Pittsburgh, Joslyn, Jensen and Blake DeCarlo of Brownsville; her great grandchildren, Landon, Harper Crable, Connor, Addison Fisher and Mia DeCarlo; her sister Donna Wilkison (Richard) of Strongsville; her daughter-in-law Lorie Kara; her grandchildren, Ashley Holcomb (Ken), Robert Kara III and Amber Kara; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie of Ohio, Ethan of Ohio and Peyton Holcomb of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
