It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Kovachick Sr. of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Kovachick and Catherine Kovachick; his daughter Kasey Beth Kovachick; and his brothers, George and James Kovachick.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Kovachick; his children, Kristen Cavanaugh (Matthew), David Kovachick, Jr. (Tina) and Katlyn "Katie" Niehenke (Jay); his grandchildren, Andrew, Ellie Cavanaugh, Gianna Vessecchia and Bella Kapnicky; his sisters, Rosanna Ondrish (Bernie) and Dolores Kovachick; his sister-in-law Barb Kovachick; his nephews, Shawn Ondrish (Meghan) and George Kovachick; his niece Dawn Stankus (Brad); and his pets, Emmi and Otis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skirpan Funeral Home (135 Park St, Brownsville, PA 15417). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
