He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rhoades and Phyllis Rhoades (Nagle); and his brother Robert "Bruce" Rhoades. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rhoades (Freiwald); his son Nicholas Rhoades; his granddaughter Alison Rhoades of Johnstown; his brother James Rhoades; his sister-in-law Maryann; his nephews, Tim and Jim; and his sister-in-law Cindia.
