He was predeceased by: his parents, John R., Sr. and Catherine Popchak (Milchak); his siblings, John, Jr., Bernard Popchak and Rosemary; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Olshewsky and Sharon Popchak.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Popchak (LaPorte); his children, Melanie (Christopher Helfrich), Jill (Steve Prosdocimo) and Adam (Kirsten Hogg); his grandchildren, Nate, Noah, Mia, Rocco, Kayla, Izzy and Iain; and his siblings, Mary Kay Olshewsky, Richard (Nancy), Thomas (Donna) and Raymond.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a. m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Those attending the visitation and funeral Mass are asked to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to further research of Guillian Barré Syndrome, 375 E. Elm Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428, or a charity of your choice in Jim's memory.
