He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Mattia and Vincent Mattia; and his sister Mary Ann Mattia. He is survived by: his wife Gail A. Mattia; his son Russell Mattia (Rose); his sister Janet Alioto (Ronald); his grandsons, Luke and Cole; his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Shane, Lauren, Brooke and Brittany; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Arianna, Olivia, Nora, Mikah, Emilia and Rae.
