He was predeceased by: his brother James Zimmerman; and his parents, John Zimmerman and Phyllis Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Zimmerman; his sons, Ronald J. Zimmerman and Richard "Rick" D. Zimmerman (Julie); his grandchildren, Diane, Daniel, Luke and Paiyton Zimmerman; and his sister Judy Lister (late Phil).
