It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Bender of Broomall, Pennsylvania, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Zielenski and Catherine Zielenski (Schaller); his brothers, Joseph and John Bender; and his former wife Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; and his children, Walter Bender (Agnes), Lorraine Pino (Bennie), Tobi Sullivan (Ryan), Joseph Bender and Robert Bender. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

There will be no viewing due to Covid restrictions and the different degrees of symptoms the family is having. We request all family and friends to please wear masks and social distance.
