He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Elizabeth (Simmons); his brother Paul; and his wife Mae. He is survived by: his children, Martin III (Marty) and Lori Ann; and his grandsons, Bryan McLaughlin and Rob Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marty's name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
