He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Lucy Hooper and Agatha Scholl; and his aunt Patricia Siddell. He is survived by: his parents, James Robert and Kathleen Maria Hooper; his uncle John Hooper; his aunts, Janet Garland (Ed), Deborah Wenke (Jack) and Cecilia McCormick (William); and his cousins, William McCormick (Brianna), Jessica Kline (Christie), Jaydon, Billy, Jacob and Jacey.
After the Summer of 2015, he attended the day program at Melmark until the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, Hootie's family suggests that donation be made to either Overbrook School for the Blind (https://www.obs.org) or St. Edmond's Home for Children.
