It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Stefanidis (Broomall, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos and Eugenia; and his wife Olga. He is survived by: his brother Pantelis Stefanidis; his children, Eugenia (late Paul), Maria (George) and Jim (Stella); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, George, Stavros Stefanidis, Theo, Steven Gekas (Bridget) and Kostas Papajohn (late Xara); his great grandchild Bernese; and his pet Gia.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Luke (35 N Malin Rd, Broomall, PA 19008). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Arlington Cemetery (2900 State Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Luke Beautification Fund.
