He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dougherty and Elizabeth Dougherty; his brother James Dougherty; and his niece Elizabeth Anne Woods. He is survived by: his sister Mary Woods (Seamus); his sister-in-law Mary Dougherty; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Woods (Maggie), Daniel Woods (Meredith), Kevin Dougherty (Mary Beth), Marianne Shields (John) and Eileen DiRita (Daniel).
