He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" Ryder; and his brother Richard Ryder, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Rita Carr Ryder; his children, Christopher Ryder, Jr. and Nicole Ryder; and his siblings, Mary Beth Bower of Broomall and Gary Ryder of Broomall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Christopher's name to St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008.
