He is survived by: his parents, Russell L. Sherman and Betty L. Sherman (Heller); his children, Valerie A. Sherman (Darren Thompson) and Matthew R. Sherman (Leah G. Caruso); his sisters, Barbara A. Merrill (Wayne) and Cynthia L. Zents (Allen); his grandchildren, Kyleigh J. Sluzenski and Austin R. Sherman; and his stepfather William DeLong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
