It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Read of Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry R. McKinsey and Doris Glenn McKinsey (Wiltsie); her husband Harvey Edward Read; her daughters, Wanda and Bonnie Lou Read; and her siblings, Thomas McKinsey, Lance McKinsey, Maxine Alexander, Naomi and Dot.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Read (Diane) of Oletha, Harvey E. Read of Dayton, Richard Luther Read (Shirley), Billy Zane Read, Paul Read (Peggy) of Littlestown, PA, Pamela May Read of Seattle, WA, James Read of Dayton, PA and Mark Read; and her siblings, Norman McKinsey of Houston, TX and Sue McKinsey of Batavia, NY.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
