He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Blair and Marion Alverda Grantz (Bruner); his wife Shirley Jean Grantz (Campbell); his half-sister Margaret Grantz; his daughter Crystal Allshouse; and his son-in-law John Shearer.
He is survived by: his children, Nelson Grantz Jr. of Cannelton, IN, Robin Boyer of Brookville and Wilda Grantz of Knox; his siblings, Blair Grantz of Ford City, Miles Grantz of Leechburg, Ansel Grantz of Rural Valley, Linda Sirwell of Austintown, OH and Pat Delp of Ford City; his half-sisters, Shirley Singleton of Ford City, Donna Graham of Ford City, Marilyn Rumbarger of Manorville and Emily Giconi of Ford City; and his grandchildren, Megan Denny, Christopher Boyer, Nelson Grantz III, Kevin Allshouse Jr., Tonya Boyer, Shawn Allshouse, Matthew Boyer and Johnny Shearer.
